So, it's that time of year. Time for Feats of Strength, the Airing of Grievances, and other such festivities! It's been a few days since I've posted, but the day after my last post, Alexa and I went to Oak Mountain State Park to give Slender Man a Christmas present. Or rather, we tried. The abbreviated story is that Alexa lost her way and I ended up getting swamped in traffic for an hour. Ultimately we went back to my house and played video games instead, ultimately having a blast. We played Saint's Row 2 and made a black shemale with blue pigtails and a cockney accent who didn't take shit from anyone. Following that, we played Dead Rising 2 and our chuck was a valiant knight who also didn't take shit from anyone. With electric wheelchairs. Yeah.
All in all, I laughed the hardest that I can remember for almost 3 hours straight. I believe that was the 23rd, so Christmas Eve-eve. Now, it is the 28th and I am in Pensacola with my family. What a great idea - going to the beach in December. There isn't much to do besides mill around the condo or walk to the outlet mall in lieu of using the car. At least we're coming back before New Year's Eve, when Steve plans to throw a party for me and my other friends to nerd the fuck out and stay up all night.
My Christmas was great! I got a few Dark Heresy books, a couple games, but, most importantly, a drawing tablet. It's a Wacom Bamboo Pen, and I love it. I'm not a great artist, but I'm interested in getting better. Well, I'm about to watch The Expendables. Is it weird that I have a recent interest in Stone Cold Steve Austin? He's simply ridiculous.
